Evidence that Fran has written a people's book, as opposed to one for aliens or meerkats

If you've read my book 'Being Miss' on Amazon Kindle and liked it, would you mind giving it a vote on the People's Book Awards for me to see if I can get pushed up the ratings?  You are very kind.

Go here to vote    http://thebookawards.com/awards/being-miss/

I'm writing the sequel to 'Being Miss'.  Watch this space.  You may have to watch for a little while, so bring your knitting, but keep watching anyhow.

  1. I did read it - and plugged it on my blog. Will go now and vote. Good luck.

    1. It was back in 1984 someone last called me chuck. I think it was in a fish and chip shop in Harrogate, something like that. I like it.

  4. I'm a very bad person. I voted even though I've never read it. I just clicked on the stars. Is that all it takes to vote? If I'm going to cheat, then I want to make sure I do it right. Being Miss needs to come out as a real book for me to read it. My eyes get too tired for me to read e-books in addition to blogging and editing. I have photophobia, and it doesn't mean I'm scared of photos.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. I take it from this that you trust me to have written a good book! And what you say about it needing to be in 'real book' form really gets me thinking. A lot of people have said the same and I really ought to get on and sort it. Thanks, Janie!

  5. I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure it's good. I haven't even downloaded it yet, but it's on my list....my long, long, list.

  6. I love everything you write but , since they didn't have a space for that , I just voted for your book , instead .
Meanwhile , I'm sitting knitting like Mme. Defarge , as instructed . It's to be hoped that you write quicker than I knit , mind you ...

    1. Thank you! Keep knitting ... I'll do my best, but if you're knitting a scarf, it could be about 3 miles long by the time we get there ...
