Evidence that Fran's book is nearly a world-wide best seller

Apparently, my e-book 'Being Miss' is number 35,159 in the Amazon Bestsellers Ranking.

'Are there people BELOW you?' says Younger Daughter.

That's what you need from your family, isn't it?  Heart-warming compassion and support.

Would you believe this is below you (I think, but my maths is not that great, even for a primary school teacher).

    1. I was really not sure I wanted one, Kate, but my sister bought me one for my Big Birthday Coming Up Soon and it's changed my views on Kindles. I love it.

    1. Yeah, but you've written a book, haven't you (or are writing). Have you thought about e-publishing it?

  8. It's very impressive and all your children are boasting about you to all and sundry .
Hell, WE'RE all boasting about you !

  9. Respect, Fran. At least you finished a book. Starting is the easy bit. And just imagine all those 35,000 ish people as they drop past you in the ratings and you soar upwards.

  10. This gave me such a laugh! But I'm thrilled for you about your book! When you break that sentence down into its key elements it's quite impressive: "my e-book", an actual number, and "Amazon bestseller list". See?!

  11. Hi Fran,

You've got it all wrong - 35,000 is the number you sold on Amazon on the day you clicked.

    Feel better now?

Well done on writing the book - no mean feat - and as soon as I get a Kindle I'll definitely be reading it.
